An interactive viewer for long-term atmospheric potential gradient measurements.
The atmospheric potential gradient (PG) is the vertical electric field measured at ground level. In fair-weather conditions it follows a universal diurnal pattern known as the Carnegie curve, and departures from that baseline carry information about local weather, aerosols, and the Global Atmospheric Electric Circuit (GAEC).
PG OpenMonitor will bring long-term ground-station PG records into a single interactive viewer: open access, mobile-first, zero-install, with shareable URLs.
